This website has no contact forms or user accounts, and it does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We process personal data only when you email us and, for technical reasons, when your browser loads the website.

When you email us

What we process: your email address, your name and anything else you include in your message, such as your company, role or the details of your request.
Why: to answer your enquiry and, if you wish, to discuss and prepare a possible cooperation.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long: we keep enquiries and correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, evaluate a potential cooperation and manage any resulting business relationship. We review this data periodically and delete it when it is no longer necessary, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Writing to us is voluntary. Without your email address, however, we cannot reply.

When you visit this website

To deliver the website and protect it against attacks and misuse, our hosting and content delivery providers process the technical data that every browser sends: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, and information about your browser and device. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not keep our own server logs and do not use this data to identify or profile visitors.

Cookies

Sagix does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are served from our own website; your browser does not contact third-party font services.

Our content delivery provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies for website security, protection against malicious traffic or verification of legitimate requests. Such cookies do not require consent, which is why this website does not show a cookie banner.

Service providers

We use the following providers, who process personal data on our behalf and only on our instructions (Art. 28 GDPR):

Google (Google Workspace) — email
Cloudflare — content delivery, DNS and website security
Amazon Web Services — website hosting

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

Transfers outside the EU

The website’s origin infrastructure is currently hosted in the United States, and some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we use the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission or appropriate contractual safeguards.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to:

access your personal data and receive a copy of it;
have inaccurate data corrected;
have your data erased;
restrict how we process it;
receive your data in a portable format, where applicable;
object to processing based on our legitimate interests.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky (Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic), Galvaniho 7/B, 821 04 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice if the way we process personal data changes — for example, if we start using new services or providers. The current version is always published on this page.
